MEET THE TEAM
Coach Steven Aragon is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt with over a decade of experience in martial arts. As the founder and head coach of Artisan, he’s dedicated to sharing his passion for Jiu-Jitsu with students of all ages and skill levels. Known for his technical knowledge, patient coaching style, and deep experience across multiple martial arts, Coach Steven leads with a commitment to discipline, growth, and community.
Coach Rob, Head Youth Coach at Artisan Wrestling Club, brings deep experience and passion for the sport. A two-time Arizona State placer, he honed his skills at Lassen and Glendale Community College, influenced by wrestling legends Eric Larkin and TJ Williams.
As a dedicated mentor in the Arizona wrestling community, he has coached numerous state-level athletes, including a 4-time Arizona State Champion. His coaching philosophy emphasizes hard work, perseverance, and technical precision, helping young wrestlers build confidence, character, and resilience.
Coach Rob is excited to develop a strong program at Artisan Wrestling Club, inspiring the next generation to embrace the challenges of one of the world’s toughest sports.
With over 7 years of experience in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Coach Frank brings a wealth of knowledge, passion, and discipline to every class.
For the past 2 years, he has specialized in coaching kids, helping young martial artists build confidence, resilience, and technical skill. A decorated competitor, Coach Frank is the 2018 Southwest Classic Champion and 2021 Arizona State Champion. He also showcased his skills on the big stage at Fight to Win 197. Whether on the mats or in competition, Coach Frank leads by example and is dedicated to helping students reach their full potential.
